MFA Director-General Charged for Sending Panadol & Watches to China Via Diplomatic Bags
A former Director-General of Singapore's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), Gilbert Oh Hin Kwan, has been charged with misusing diplomatic privileges. He allegedly used diplomatic bags to send personal items, including Panadol and luxury watches, instead of official documents. The MFA expects all staff to uphold high standards of conduct, and Oh faces potential jail time and fines if found guilty of cheating and lying to a public servant. The case is scheduled for a subsequent hearing on December 21.
