Bruce Lehrmann, the man accused of raping Brittany Higgins in Parliament House, has made a claim in court that he believes Brittany's fiance, David Sharaz, sent an anonymous threatening email to him before she went public with her allegations. Lehrmann is suing Network Ten and journalist Lisa Wilkinson for defamation, alleging that their interview with Higgins prejudiced his criminal trial. During cross-examination, Wilkinson's barrister suggested that Lehrmann held dual views on the matter, whileNetwork Ten's barrister described Lehrmann's claim that Higgins had made up the allegation as "incoherent."
