The Tajrish Bazaar in northern Tehran is one of the oldest areas of the city, near the Emamzadeh Saleh Mausoleum and other popular attractions such as Velaynak, Darband, and Darkeh mountain resorts. The name Tajrish originates from the Tat language, which was the official language of Shemiran before Tehran became the capital. The bazaar was built in the traditional architectural style of other Bazaars in Tehran.
