The nervous system is a network of nerve cells, or neurons, that allows us to interact with our environment and control various bodily functions. It consists of the brain, spinal cord, and nerves. The brain acts as a central computer that processes information, analyzes it, and sends electrical impulses to different parts of the body through the spinal cord and nerves. These impulses convey orders from the brain to the rest of the body, such as when we hear a loud noise and our hand moves to adjust the volume on the TV.
