We should let the government actually do stuff

The chart shows trust scores have been relatively stable since the Coalition years. The author suggests that increasing trust in government is not about "participatory policy making" but rather delivery of material outcomes, such as economic growth and improved public services. If a government delivers what it promises, people will see politicians are changing lives for the better and increase their trust.
