Respond to disputes

Stripe's dispute management process includes automated notifications when an account owner files a dispute against a payment. Disputes can be inquiries or formal disputes, and require a response within a deadline. The response guidelines are provided for each dispute category, including CE 3.0 Eligibility and liability shift rules. Dispute responses can be accepted or challenged through Stripe's API or Dashboard, and must include relevant evidence and information to support the challenge.
