PepsiCo invertirá 5 millones en su planta de Álava para conseguir emisiones netas cero
PepsiCo will invest €5 million to make its Álava plant emissions net zero by 2025. The plant, which produces iconic brands like KAS and Pepsi, currently uses renewable energy and will switch from natural gas to electricity, achieving 100% electrification. This initiative is part of PepsiCo's "PepsiCo Positive" sustainability strategy and follows a previous commitment to use 100% recycled plastic for its Pepsi bottles in Spain. The Álava plant celebrates its 50th anniversary this year and has 200 employees. Additionally, PepsiCo has invested €27 million since 2019 in innovation and sustainability projects at the Álava plant.
