Grandpa tells a story about a lion and a monkey who live in a jungle. One day, the lion sees meat on top of a banana leaf and, thinking it's a free meal, tries to grab it but falls into a deep pit. The monkey passes by and sees the lion trapped, so he helps him out of the pit. However, instead of letting the monkey go, the lion holds onto his tail, refusing to let him go. An old woman appears and tells the lion and monkey to clasp their paws and say certain words, but when the lion does as instructed, the monkey escapes and runs away. The story teaches the lesson that trust and gratitude are important qualities to have in life.
