Corona PD had their first pursuit on Red radio channel this morning, but lost the vehicle. Despite the outcome, they learned valuable lessons about using Control One's resources and communicating effectively. Reminders were given to use plain language when possible, use city names instead of station numbers, and stay on the "Red" channel unless absolutely necessary. The training exercise was a good start for Corona PD, and plans are in place to continue training with them soon.
