                                When feeling lost during the film-making process, it's helpful to reflect on what drew you to movies in the first place. For me, that was watching John Cassavetes' Faces in college, which showed the power of cinema to reflect life honestly. To maintain mental health, avoid excessive drinking and social media, keep a day job (if possible), and prioritize self-care. With planning and hard work, it's possible to make a successful film without sacrificing mental health.
