Keywords and themes include IoT, Fog computing, smart cities, data analytics, AI, and cybersecurity.5. Institutions represented include universities, research institutes, and companies, with top performers based in US, China, and Europe.6. High citation impact of papers in the field.7. Identification of hotspots and clusters in the co-authorship network, including institutions such as MIT, Stanford, and Berkeley, as well as industry leaders like Google, IBM, and Microsoft.8. Centrality of authors and institutions in the co-authorship network can identify key players and networks.9. Collaboration patterns among authors and institutions, indicating a collaborative approach to research in some papers and a more individualized approach in others.10. Future research directions include integration of IoT and Fog computing, development of smart city frameworks, and application of AI and machine learning to IoT and smart cities research.Overall, the analysis provides insights into the growing trend, interconnectedness of keywords and themes, key players, and future research directions in the fields of IoT, Fog computing, and smart cities.
